I have always felt a bond with animals, so becoming a veterinarian was an easy choice to make at the ripe old age of 6 years old! I never could see myself doing anything else and have been living my dream of helping animals ever since. I am a native of Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2006 and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2010.
After graduation, I moved to Colorado Springs and immediately fell in love with my now permanent home. My first nine years as a veterinarian were spent working with Banfield and North Academy Animal Hospital. I am now thrilled to be a member of such a wonderful team at Aspen View Veterinary Hospital. I am passionate about continuing education and progressing my knowledge to better help my patients. I was the Continuing Education Director for the Colorado Springs Area Veterinary Society from 2015-2017.
My professional interests include surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and dermatology, and I am a fear-free certified professional. In my off time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Jordan, experimenting with new recipes, running and hiking with my rescue dog Gill, and attempting to catch fish. I look forward to partnering with you to provide the best possible care for your furry friend!
